The 2019 AFL Grand Final will be broadcast live on the Seven Network. It’s the biggest week on the AFL calendar and after two thrilling preliminary final showdowns, the sides are set for the AFL Grand Final.
Richmond took care of business on Friday night when they ran over the top of Geelong in the second half before GWS held off Collingwood in an epic nailbiter to win though to the club’s first Grand Final.
It sets up a a dream decider for the AFL with its expansion club baby set to duel the high-flying club that has become many fans’ unofficial second team.
The injury-ravaged Giants are rank outsiders to continue their fairytale run and many commentators are predicting a Richmond romp in the last Saturday of September.
None of those commentators, however, have declared as much faith in the Tigers as Hawthorn great Ben Dixon, who on Friday declared Damien Hardwick’s team will conqiuer the Giants in the 2019 decider before going on to win three straight flags — on top of the 2017 premiership win over Adelaide.
